Easter in Slovakia

Hello dear friends,

first of all I would like to thank our Italian friends for the information about Easter in Italy. Eggs play a very important part in Slovakia too. Those of you, who want to learn more, can watch this video.

I would like to dedicate it to everyone who participates in our project, especially to the families of all school coordinators: Tanja, David, Burcu and Amanda.

We like this video, because the eggs are very colourful . We like the music, it is very original. We like your traditions , above all that one of throwing water : it's very funny!

Logo of the project

The logo represents a book to let us remind the importance of Comenius who believed that knowledge must be intercultural. We have chosen the book as image because World book day is on April 23rd when in Nerola we celebrate our Patron Saint. On top of this the book is open because it means that we love and appreciate our continent Europe we accept our position within Europe and our belonging is stressed on the European flag which is in the middle of the book but we also take into account the flags of the countries belonging to our project, whose title is inscribed at the bottom of the book. With this logo we would like to put the accent on culture and our european belonging.
