COMENIUS DAY in KOŠICE

Dear friends,

we had a Comenius Day today in our school. Since we are a big school, we took this opportunity to inform everyone (no matter how little or old:-) about our project. We placed all presents that you gave us in the hall so that every single person (students, their parents, other teachers) had a chance to see them. We showed them the project web site and blog.

All students who took part in mobilities and are still at our school (Petra, Michal, Matej, Daniele) answered questions asked by anyone who stopped by. We also talked about the importance of children´s rights and projects like ours. We stressed the importance of learning languages and making friends with people from other European countries. Here are some of the pictures taken today. Hope you will like them.

let me introduce 4 Slovak students who can´t wait to visit Slovenia.

my name is Dáška. I am 13. I love animals. My hobbies are riding a horse, cycling, and reading books. I like all the sports. I like lots of food, but I don't like rise and corn. I have got one dog and two guinea pigs.

My mum is Silvia. She is 38 years old. She works in office. My dad is Robert. He is 39. He is an engineer. My brother is Oliver. He is 11. He is goes to same school as me. You can see him in the photo too. That is my family.

My name is Hanka and I am 13. I live in Košice. I have two siblings: one brother, he is 11 and one sister, she is 7. I speak English, German, a little bit French and of course Slovak. My favourite subject is art. I like reading and watching fantasy movies and series. I like playing basketball, swimming, riding a bike and skiing. I have one dog, its name is Julie and it is our family pet. I am looking forward to my new friends in Slovenia.

My name is Martin Ropek. I am twelve years old. I am in 6.C class. My favourite subjects are PE and Maths. My hobbies are playing the guitar or playing games like table football. I like sweet dishes, pizza, French fries with fried cheese. I like computers and electronics. Last year I visited places that are connected to Don Bosco and his work.

Hi, my name is Lukáš Weiszer. I´m thirteen years old. I live in Slovakia in Košice. I visit Nám. Ladislava Novomeského 2 primary school. I live in a house near the Košice. I´ve got two brothers. They´re twins. I love playing football, ice-hockey, chess, table tennis. My favourite food is a spaghetti, but I like pancakes, fried chicken with chips and fruit too. I don´t like fish, spinach, cauliflower.
