Halloween Night at School

The forthcoming Halloween was the reason why The Student Parliament organized the event called "The Night at School". Almost 70 students and 7 teachers spent a night at school. All students had to meet one requirement - come to school between 5:30 and 6:00 pm wearing a Halloween mask or costume. Then they participated in a night treasure hunt when they had to find hidden clues at different locations and work out the answers. Luckily, almost everyone got it right and received a sweet prize (chocolate or sweets). Take away pizza was followed by a disco and watching the films such as The Others and Scary Movie. The light went out at 11 pm, however, some students (and teachers) were up till 2 am. When we were leaving the school at 8 am we all felt tired but happy:-)

Logo of the project

The logo represents a book to let us remind the importance of Comenius who believed that knowledge must be intercultural. We have chosen the book as image because World book day is on April 23rd when in Nerola we celebrate our Patron Saint. On top of this the book is open because it means that we love and appreciate our continent Europe we accept our position within Europe and our belonging is stressed on the European flag which is in the middle of the book but we also take into account the flags of the countries belonging to our project, whose title is inscribed at the bottom of the book. With this logo we would like to put the accent on culture and our european belonging.
