Slovakia celebrated its 50th anniversary with a ball

Hello my friends,

I hope that everybody got home from Las Palmas well:-) Slovak Comenius team members were the first to leave because they wanted to attend the ball that took place on 22nd February in Hilton Hotel in Košice.

Here are the photos of Ada, Slavka and Eva and with their beloved husbands=)

Those of you who came to Košice in November 2013 may remember our friends Soňa and Erika.

And I am sure you remember my lovely Comenius Assistant Helene:-) In this photo she is with our handsome ICT teacher Roman.

At midnight our headmaster Martin Kotlar cut up this yummy cake.

We also had a chance to watch a very exciting fire show.

I believe you like these photos. I am working on the video about the mobility to Las Palmas. As soon as it is ready it will be posted on the project website:-)

Vauuuuu....in such event, of course, you mustn't missing. Ada, you and your husband look marwellous, so elegant...what a dress!!!!! !! In fact all of you are marwellous.

Logo of the project

The logo represents a book to let us remind the importance of Comenius who believed that knowledge must be intercultural. We have chosen the book as image because World book day is on April 23rd when in Nerola we celebrate our Patron Saint. On top of this the book is open because it means that we love and appreciate our continent Europe we accept our position within Europe and our belonging is stressed on the European flag which is in the middle of the book but we also take into account the flags of the countries belonging to our project, whose title is inscribed at the bottom of the book. With this logo we would like to put the accent on culture and our european belonging.
