AKŞEMSETTIN PRIMARY SCHOOL' S THANKS MESSAGES FOR TANJA

Dear friends, here you will find the translation of thanks messages for Tanja.

The first one is from the teacher of 4th graders.

"Dear Tanja, we - me, my students and parents of my students- are very happy because of your visit to our class. We learnt about your education system and by this way we had a chance to compare two education systems. You gave me the chance to observe another teacher from abroad and i recognised that you were so good at communicating with students. We all listened to you with pleasure. I can say that your students in Slovenia are so lucky to have a teacher like you. Thank you so much for your visit to our class and we are looking forward to see you in our school in May. Best wishes and love from 4D class." AYHAN ACAR, teacher of 4D class.

Another one is from our science teacher who came from Bulgaria. Tanja spoke Macedonian and our teacher spoke Bulgarian and they could communicate very well.

"I had a chance to meet with Tanja by means of the comenius project that my colleague Burcu coordinates at our school. When Tanja first came to school, we didn't communicate because i couldn't speak English but some time later we recognised that we could speak Slav languages which had more in common. After that our communication got more sincere.By means of our conversations, I realised that Tanja was very professional, experienced teacher in her field and she had a wide perspective. We talked about our education systems and had a chance to compare them.

Tanja is very sincere, sophisticated, vivacious and self confident. She is respectful to the lives of other people and very curious to learn about them. I can say that she can adapt very quickly and she gives positive energy to the people around her.

You make me cry!!!! Thank you for all your nice words about me! Thanks for all your opinions. Also, all of you are deeply in my heart. So much attention as you gave me (parents of 4D class were prepared traditional Turkish dishes) Kalpten invited me to her home, a group of teachers take me to the world of belly dancing ..... how can I forget all this? Among you, I felt like I was home.

This can not be forgotten!!! Never! I am counting the days until we meet again.

Logo of the project

The logo represents a book to let us remind the importance of Comenius who believed that knowledge must be intercultural. We have chosen the book as image because World book day is on April 23rd when in Nerola we celebrate our Patron Saint. On top of this the book is open because it means that we love and appreciate our continent Europe we accept our position within Europe and our belonging is stressed on the European flag which is in the middle of the book but we also take into account the flags of the countries belonging to our project, whose title is inscribed at the bottom of the book. With this logo we would like to put the accent on culture and our european belonging.
